  • The project proposes to call parishioners to service and presence with mentally handicapped individuals and their families. Through the commitment to these members, the parish seeks to fulfill the mission of Jesus to love and compassion with the less fortunate in society. Volunteers were placed in control or experimental groups. The latter is a ministry base reflection group studying parish ministry in the light of the gospel and tradition of the church. The result is a better and proper understanding of the church as the servant community.
