  • The purpose of this project was to initiate a mentoring process for developing men as servant leaders at Foothills Baptist Church in Issaquah, Washington. The project utilized non-directive coaching and transformational learning as a means for existing leaders to mentor emerging leaders in developing the character qualities of servant leadership demonstrated by Jesus. The project was comprised of a training retreat for the mentors and ten weeks of weekly meetings for mentoring the emerging leaders. All the participants demonstrated growth, either as a mentor or in their character as servant leader.
