Abstrakt

Worship can be a place for dialogue, learning, and engagement with people from other traditions and faiths without losing our own traditions or compromising our faith. The author describes the design and experiences related to a series of intentional worship events focused on personal, congregational, community, national, and international engagements of ecumenical and interfaith dialogue. At each level the setting is analyzed and interpreted as it relates to the specific worship opportunities. Several new models of using worship as a form of ecumenical and interfaith dialogue were developed and a pattern of faith engagement was established at several levels.
