  • In the study the researcher examines the effects of a training program for district church planters, their spouses, and new church core groups. Included in the training program are a two and one-half day seminar for church planters and their spouses, and a twelve-unit curriculum taught by the church planters to their respective core groups. The researcher used a Likert Scale, and objective test, key informant field interviews, and field observations to evaluate the training program. It was concluded that a team spirit in church planting was developed in the new congregations as a result of participating in the study.
