Abstrakt

This project equips a grief ministry team to minister to the needs of a grieving person in the first year following the death of a loved one. In eight-week training sessions grief ministry team members are equipped with listening skills, grief counseling skills, understanding of the grieving process, and a biblical perspective on grief that enables team members to answer some of the difficult questions that arise when people face death. Knowledge gained from training sessions is used to help grieving families work through grief and adjust to life without the loved one.
