Abstrakt

This project examines the process of engaging unreached people groups on the part of Sonoraville Baptist Church. Chapter 1 outlines the project's general goals, limitations, and measures of success. Chapter 2 is a statement of the biblical and theological foundation for the local church engaging unreached people groups. Particular attention is given to Acts 13 and Romans 15 as key in understanding this foundation. Chapter 3 is an examination of the current methodological framework of engaging unreached peoples in order to place local church involvement with this task into its wider context. Chapter 4 reports on the actual process of partnership between Sonoraville Baptist Church and the Yi peoples of China, focusing on the concrete processes that must be put into place in the local church. Chapter 5 concludes the project with an analysis of results, including discussion of both challenges and success.
