The author raises the question, 'Is primal integration therapy a viable psychotherapeutic tool for meeting the theological and psychological concerns of pastoral counseling'? Research includes a review of pertinent theological, psychological and pastoral care literature; an interview with Cecil G Osborne, founder of Primal Integration therapy; and questionnaires given to former patients, therapists and pastoral counselors. The project includes graphs which compare the theological and psychological responses to the research questions raised.
