  • The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's expository preaching skills through developing and preaching a series of sermons at Ellaville Baptist Church, Ellaville, Georgia. The project director read various resources concerning expository preaching and public speaking to identify key skills necessary for expository preaching. The identified skills were evaluated by an expert in the field of expository preaching. After the preaching skills were identified, the project director developed a series of sermons on biblical stewardship incorporating research conducted on stewardship. The project director preached the series of sermons utilizing the identified expository preaching skills. The project director solicited feedback from a selected group of members of Ellaville Baptist Church via a sermon feedback form. The project director also had the sermons evaluated by his field mentor.
