Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip a selected group of young adult males at First Baptist Church of Springfield, Georgia, in spiritual formation skills. The supposition of the project was that a crisis exists in North American society regarding the capacity of young adult males to develop toward authentic manhood. The project's thesis was that training young adult males in spiritual disciplines would help them progress toward spiritual maturity and authentic manhood. Through this project the director taught participants how to practice six spiritual disciplines. The project evaluations revealed that the project fulfilled its purpose in several ways.
