Abstrakt

This project advocates increased involvement of persons over age 65 in the ministry of the church to reverse the effects of currently held negative images of aging persons and, in so doing, to facilitate their own self-esteem and spiritual well-being. In addition, the church thereby retains a valuable reservoir of human skills and wisdom for performing its ministry. the study enables the elderly to take responsibility for their own ministry by utilizing a self-help strategy.
