Abstract
  • This project asks whether there is a change in faith development when an adult inquirers class uses shared Christian praxis. The project centers around the Church as symbol. The central question is addressed in a practicum which consists of seven two-hour sessions that use the five movements of shared praxis and in thirteen faith development interviews before and after the practicum. The interviews are conducted according to James Fowler's short interview form. The data reveals that there is no faith development change when this model is used. The data does show content accumulation when the model is used.
