- The purpose of this project was to implement a process of leadership training at a local congregation utilizing a value management paradigm. Adapting the main principle of value engineering to a ministry context resulted in an increase in faithful service among the members and a decrease in certain traditions that were hindering the effectiveness of the ministry. Organizational efforts based on value management helped create several small groups called Little Churches. Utilizing a value management paradigm in local congregations introduces a new dimension to the effective teaching of and living out the gospel in the lives of the church members.
