  • Together with all of the faithful, children have gifts. For churches which take children's presence seriously and seek to enable and enjoy their gifts, a window is opened for all to whom God has given gifts. In this thesis the window is called the charismatic paradigm of ministry. This paradigm opens the way for full participation of children. More than this, in the charismatic paradigm of ministry, everyone who has God-given gifts is essential to the ministry of the church. In this paradigm, ministry cannot be conceived apart from the gifts of the community.
