Abstrakt

The project acts upon the belief that the priority of outreach within a congregation, both in financial and human resources use, can be increased while maintaining secure financial stability within the congregation. Through development of a mission statement, recruiting lay involvement in mission, and increasing financial giving to the congregation, the thesis was validated by results. There were also intentional efforts to increase the outreach proportion of spending. The project uses case study approaches, looking at the efforts carried out within the target congregation. Reflections upon what was learned and observed are included.
