Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to implement a program of need-oriented evangelism in a small-town, traditional Brethren church. The pastor and leaders concentrated on evangelism, and coordinated the focus on evangelism training throughout the programs of the church. As a result, the attitudes of the people were changed. They began looking for people outside the church to whom they could minister, and with whom they could share the message of the Gospel of Christ. Lay leaders began to teach and empower others to reach out. The church actually began to grow.
