Abstrakt

This project proposes an alternate approach to committee structures for small congregations, demonstrating it in Saint Paul Lutheran Church (Williamsport, Pa). The biblical concept of the Body of Christ is the foundation for the direction and purpose of the congregation's life. Systems theory offers a means of analyzing a congregation and finding components to facilitate managing the system and moving it toward fulfillment of purpose.
