Abstrakt

The project was designed to train up a new generation of preachers for the Mennonite Brethren denomination in British Columbia, who would be able to communicate the gospel as expositional preachers in a post Christian world. The project involved interviewing pastors and denominational leaders to assess the needs in the denomination. It also involved teaching a fourth year class at Columbia Bible College which was designed to recruit and train a new generation of preachers. The study concluded that more training was necessary along with a higher commitment to biblicism demanded among those being recruited.
