Abstrakt

Pastoral experience suggests a need for more grief support than pastors are able to give due to other responsibilities. This project proposes that Christian laypersons could be trained to give significant support to one another in grief. The project included attendance at a grief training workshop, research in literature of the field, and planning and leading a grief training workshop. The workshop helped some participants to work through some of their grief and others to begin to help family and friends.
