  • The study examined implementation of the Commitment to Evangelism materials in five Pennsylvania churches representing country, suburban and urban locations. A research questionnaire that rated attitudes toward evangelism was developed for church members before and after the material was used. The thesis was that attitudes toward evangelism would increase positively after the material's use and that results would differ as a function of the church's location. Age, sex, length of membership, and holding of office were biographic evaluations of the data. Only one church administered the posttest. An increase in positive attitude was discovered, but no difference between locations.
