- Abstract
- This report explores the use of intentional social and emotional education, specifically through the implementation of Conscious Discipline [registered symbol], by churches in their educational ministries. Originally intended for use by teachers and parents of young children, the curriculum of Conscious Discipline [registered symbol] teaches the skills and powers necessary for social-emotional excellence. By means of a case study, as well as surveys and interviews of churches representing several denominations, it was established that Conscious Discipline [registered symbol] can be used as a tool for spiritual growth and aids in equipping people for Christian discipleship.
