  • The purpose of this project is to determine the results of the use of plannaging as an administrative instrument in ten American Baptist churches. The method of investigation included a theological study of the process and the obtaining of data from pastors and church committees through questionnaires and interviews. The result of the study indicate that plannaging is suitable for use in a church, is helpful for administration, and that pastors lack confidence in the use of plannaging following training. The teaching episode needs more 'hands on' experiences plus opportunities for theological reflection.
