Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to introduce a biblical model of marriage to the leadership of a church in India. A biblical marriage model--men leading in sacrificial love and unselfish service, and by treating their wives as equal partners--is needed within the Indian context. This project was successful in promoting change by impacting the leaders' marriages. They intend to model and teach this concept to their members. The effectiveness of this ten-week course and the impact of the couples was assessed by pretest and post-test evaluations, verbal interviews, and a final reflection day.
