Young people often feel disenfranchised within the life of the worshipping community, but there are models of preaching that can nurture a strong sense of empowerment. Through surveys, group work, and observations of worshipping youth, the author proposes a model of conversational preaching that helps to bring youth into active participation with the development of the sermon.
