Abstrakt

Using Groome's five-step method, this is an exploration of the possibility of initiating a new centre for adult education and faith formation in London, England, which would be based on the principles of theological method of Bernard Lonergan and the model of Maria Montessori and in accord with the tradition and charism of the Vincentians. The thesis is based on a questionnaire-project undertaken in London in 1997 and concludes with an outline of the requirements for such a project and the questions and issues raised by implementing a new style of education.
