  • The writer conducted a six-week, intergenerational sister-to-sister Bible study to explore the use of a small, diverse group to build community, enhance individual participation in activities, and bridge the spiritual gap between and the commitment level of mature Christians and younger, less experienced Christian women. Using selected women, the writer facilitated discussions to provide a framework for female solidarity. Members of the Bible study group grew spiritually and attained a sense of belonging and connectedness as they shared beliefs, experiences, values, and needs. Thus, the writer concluded that Bible study is a powerful tool for church ministry.
