  • The purpose of this project was to equip selected adults of Believers Southern Baptist Church, Wichita, Kansas, to mentor young couples in regard to life skills. The project director enlisted mentor couples and led them through six hours of mentor training regarding biblical principles of mentoring and marriage, conflict and resolution, stedardship, strengthening relationships, improving communications, and parenting together. Training consisted of six sessions utilizing curriculum the project direcotr designed, prepared, and taught to assists these adults in gaining the necessary knowledge, awareness of resources, and some basic skills needed to engage in the ministry of mentoring younger couples.
