Abstrakt

This project is a discovery study on identity formation in preacher's kids in the Church of God in Christ at West Angeles COGIC, Los Angeles, California. It focuses on COGIC pks who share thier stories. Findings reveal that home life is foremost in relation to impact on identity formation. Three pk types were established, in response to growing up under the authority of a preacher/parent. Recommendations were made to increase positive impacts and reduce negative impacts on identity formation. Results will make the reader aware of the challenges and benefits of rearing a preacher's kid.
