- Can the mid-size church survive in a mega-church world? Pastoral leadership can help a midsize congregation out of the shadow of the mega-church to establish its own relevant ministries. Vision is critically important, for where there is no vision, the people do perish. The whole church must welcome new people and be open to new ministerial ideas. Knowing one's congregation and being knowledgeable of community needs are of utmost importance.
