Abstrakt

Can the mid-size church survive in a mega-church world? Pastoral leadership can help a midsize congregation out of the shadow of the mega-church to establish its own relevant ministries. Vision is critically important, for where there is no vision, the people do perish. The whole church must welcome new people and be open to new ministerial ideas. Knowing one's congregation and being knowledgeable of community needs are of utmost importance. The midsize church cannot compete with the mega-church in terms of quantity, but the quality of ministry can make all the difference to the congregation and the community.
