- The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's skill in preaching to middle school and high school students at Broadmoor Baptist Church, Shreveport, Louisiana in order to communicate more effectively with those students. The project director utilized the ministry skills enhancement model to develop this project. He researched effective preaching principles through the development of an annotated bibliography. Upon determination of those effective preaching principles, the project director developed a series of four sermons. He enlisted a creative planning team and preaching experts to critique his sermons based upon the established preaching principles.
