Abstrakt

In this ministry project, the project director led three separate groups of parishioners in a rediscovery and renewal of congregational identity. He led one group in an understanding of the possibilities of missional transformation in the local church. He led another group in a discovery of their faith story through the use of a timeline. He assisted the last group in developing the skill of finding and celebrating their missional opportunities. He used sermons, seminars, interviews, group explorations, and prayer in this ministry project. Phone interviews, tests, and interviews were used for research and evaluation. The participants revisited their past and attempted to embrace the realities of their own mistakes and forge a new identity in ministry for the future.
