Abstrakt

This report defines and describes a process for leading an established congregation in transforming its vision and mission through training and organizational restructuring for the implementation of ministries that strengthen families. It includes a reflection on the historic role of the Black Church in affirming and supporting family life; the development of a theological basis for family ministry; and promotes the significant role of laity in providing ministerial leadership. This report may appeal specifically to persons interested or serving in the itinerant ministry.
