Abstrakt

The thesis of this project was to develop and implement a personal spiritual formation plan for the purpose of development of future leaders and committed participation in the activities of the local church. The focus was on the heart of the believer because I am convinced that leadership development and committed participation are intimately linked with proper, effective spiritual formation. To prepare for the project, I researched appropriate literature, and established a core group of believers who were willing to participate. Twenty-two believers initially participated in the first workshop, and most continued through the seven-week project. Most developed a plan, carried through on the plan, and concluded with a plan to implement through the next year.
