Abstrakt

This project proposes to develop and field test an educational kit that can be used in conjunction with the Souper Bowl of Caring. This resource can be used in either a Sunday School setting or with a youth fellowship group. While the piece is designed as a companion for the Souper Bowl experience, it can be used at any time. This paper provides an overview of the Souper Bowl of Caring, looks at the biblical basis for the project and examines several respected hunger programs. The findings of those chapters are used to devise the education resource which is then field tested and revised.
