Abstrakt

This study examines the model of Organization Development Theory (ODT) and applies it to church management of the Korean Methodist Church (KMC) to enable individual churches to meet more effectively the challenges that churches experience within their changing context. This project is composed of three parts: theoretical research, the application of ODT to the KMC, and a case study of a local church. The author of this study suggests that Korean Methodist churches should use ODT because it diagnoses their problems, provides practical ways to solve their problems, and will enable them to develop their organizations more effectively.
