Abstrakt

The teaching of a pilot training course on evangelical catechesis led to the design and implementation of a training manual for Greek evangelical church leaders to instruct converts from a Greek Orthodox background. The training manual involves a study of specific aspects of catechesis in order to provide the catechist with the necessary theological, philosophical, sociological, psychological, and educational background for this task. The goal of this manual for catechists is to assist them in understanding the complex issues involved with convert catechesis and in dealing with them effectively.
