- Surveys have indicated that pastors of numerically small churches have had little opportunity for writing for the larger denominations. This project gave a forum for writers in the Kansas City Kansas Baptist Association. Of the pool of forty-three eligible churches and missions at the beginning of the project, nine participated. While the project was designed to indicate success with eight participants, not only was this goal surpassed but others have indicated a desire to participate at a later time. A journal was produced with editing at a later time. A journal was produced with editing not the major goal and distributed to the fifty-three churches in the Association.
