  • This project employs personality-type theory to explore the territory of Christian spirituality and spiritual gifts, examining ways that humans love God and others with heart, soul, mind, and strength through the mental functions of sensing, intuiting, thinking, and feeling. Spiritual gifts are expressed and may be found in a variety of levels of conscious behavior. The project offers a community model for discernment of gifts as a balance between the subjectivity of spiritual gifts inventories and the objective psychological implications of type theory. A theory of progressive conversion relates personality-type preference to Christology, ecclesiology, pneumatology, missiology, and to 16 areas of ministry.
