Abstrakt

This project explores the challenges involved in making a transition from the pastorate to a church planting ministry. It examines the issues associated with the change that is needed for pastors who are considering the prospects of becoming church planters. This work provides a look at the biblical and theological principles which provide the mandate for church planting as a point of reference. Pie charts are provided to graphically display the results of 200 replies that were secured from church planters. A profile of a typical church planter is identified.
