Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to research the biblical standard for the nature and function of church membership and effective means of orienting new and potential church members in order to develop a pre-membership class that communicates expectations of membership to prospective church members of Parkway Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi. The project began by researching the nature and function of church membership from a biblical perspective, methods for orienting new church members, and curriculum design. After all of the research had been completed, a curriculum was developed to orient potential members of Parkway Baptist Church in Natchez, Mississippi.
