  • The use of images is a common language in our post-modern culture. It is a language understood by people of every age, race, and gender. Through study and personal observation, this author has concluded that image-driven worship aids the worshipper in connecting with the Christian message. This author has researched how the post-modern gathers information and how images help to motivate them to action. As a pastor in the United Methodist Church, he uses image-driven worship to help people experience the living Christ. Since the post-modern culture is image-driven, media is the language of culture.
