Abstrakt

This project investigates expository preaching as a means of increasing knowledge of the Old Testament and its application for daily life. Chapter 1 outlines the purpose, goals, context, rationale, and research methodology for the project. Chapter 2 provides the biblical basis for expository preaching and its connection to application in daily life. Chapter 3 explores the importance of expository preaching from the Old Testament. Chapters 4 and 5 present the specific elements of the ministry project. Organization of test groups is described and pre-project/post-project questionnaire methodology is detailed as well as the sermon discussion group.
