Abstrakt

This multigenerational education project is designed for a Christian congregation learning about Islam. For the children and youth there were Sunday school classes, seminars, Muslim guests, and a children's sermon on symbols of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Adults learned through classes, panel discussions, seminars, book groups and guests. All ages studied the basic tenets of Islam. Similarities and dissimilarities between Islam and Christianity were explored. Using surveys and interviews, the author's conclusion was that a deepening of faith occurred in those who participated.
