Abstrakt

This work provides a defense of expository preaching as an effective means of proclaiming the biblical foundation necessary for life transformation. It defines that biblical foundation through a review of creeds, doctrinal statements, and systematic theologies. It reviews published preaching plans and the practices of preachers surveyed. A plan is then developed which is designed to preach the biblical foundation and practical application of the truth which is necessary for the development of spiritual maturity. The plan also provides a means of evaluating the extent to which the full purpose of God has been proclaimed.
