Abstrakt

Pastors of multiple church charges need a plan for pastoral leadership in their church schools. The process described provides for the pastor to attend church schools periodically, enable him/her to listen to teachers, observe classes, help plan teacher training events, and encourage long range planning and implementation of a charge-wide teacher training event, identification of space and equipment needs, purchase of new teaching aids, formation of a Commission on Education, the review of different philosophies of education and improved collaboration between the pastor and churches.
