Abstrakt

The main thesis of this paper is that church growth needs to be thought of in terms of individual awakenings or conversion. The paper defines church growth in terms of the individual and provides a historical and biblical basis for individual involvement in the growth process. The author concludes that it is not evangelism that leads to church growth, but rather, church growth, as defined in the paper, leads to evangelism. Research for the paper utilized a wide variety of written materials as well as the author's own experience in the local church.
