Abstrakt

The thesis concentrates on internationalization of the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn) in 111 countries. A model and method are developed based on unity, both spiritual and practical. The model examines theology, experience, and culture. Their integration suggests how the church changes without losing its identity. The methodology makes the model practical in any given time or culture. A historical focus on a changing South Africa concludes that the church is not built by techniques but primarily an organism birthed by the Spirit of God.
