Abstrakt

This project proposes that Taiwanese will better understand and more readily respond to an evangelism contextualized to confront Taiwanese worldview issues. Based on a review of literature concerning worldview, animism, and contextualization, the project prepared, distributed, and analyzed a questionnaire among three sample groups: randomly selected residents of Luchou in Taipei County, 60 young men in the military, and 21 acquaintances of church members. From this information the project develops and presents 13 biblical storying sessions that include major characters of the Old Testament and the life and work of Jesus.
