Abstrakt

Since the relationship between pastor and congregation is a church's most important relationship, it needs to be monitored and enhanced by a group of people in the church. This project developed a manual for use by a Mutual Ministry Committee. Eight people from the Great Lakes District Council of the Central Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church evaluated the manual. The author addressed (1) topics for discussion at Mutual Ministry Committee meetings, (2) a process by which pastor and church can clarify their expectations of each other, and (3) survey material for evaluating the manual's effectiveness.
