Abstrakt

This project examines the redevelopment of Olney Presbyterian Church which has experienced significant decline over the last decade. It examines: the scriptural and theological issues surrounding the mission of the church; the history of the church with particular attention to its growth and decline; the demographics of the surrounding area to determine who lives nearby; sociological issues which examine the decline of mainline Protestant churches; issues which relate to baby boomers and secular people; and, a suggested study course which seeks to sensitize folks to the need for redevelopment.
